So I am visting my parents in Allentown, PA due to my parent’s illness.
They live in the Parkland area which is full of parks and on Cedar Crest Blvd. which should link the parks.
The problem is there is no place for pedestrians or bicycles, just cars.
In fact at some places like the intersection at Broadway/Parkway Boulevard and Cedar Crest Boulevard there are parks on both the NE corner (Trexler Park) and the SW corner (Cedar Crest Parkway) and it is completely illegal for pedestrians to cross the intersection. That is insane.
I just walked the 1/2 mile from Trexler Park to my parent’s house which is right near Cedar Crest College and it was terrifying to walk on Cedar Crest Boulevard.
This is something that needs to be fixed.
Pedestrians aren’t illegal.
