Today is Halloween. The day to dress up.
I respect it, and I know many love it.
They love to guise, it makes them feel alive, magical.
Or they love to cosplay and be a character.
To me it’s hard enough to be myself, and accept myself. I think we put on masks too much as it is.
Of what we were. Of what others expect of us.
And when we take off those masks we are happier.
That being said I do need to do the guising ritual at Rites next year, even if I miss some awesome poetry.
What does guising bring to you?
