A month of epic epicness.
I see now why many consider the decade that Neil Gaiman creating the Sandman his finest work.
So much mythology. So much richness. So many stories.
I flew through the last two volumes today. I would re-read them but maybe that’s for 2020 or so.
It deals with life, death, loss, longing, madness, stories told and only imagined and just so many things.
There are so many stories you can tell involving the endless king of dreams.
I feel privileged that I got a chance to read it.
See if your local library system has it and sink your teeth into it. It’s an amazing adventure.
I bought volume 8 because my extended library system lost it’s only copy. My favorite and the only one I read twice is volume 4.
And I’m very happy my life is not endless. That just seems so insanely vast.
A masterpiece. *****
