I first added reading glasses to my regular prescription about 18 months ago. I was having trouble reading the fine print.
And the +0.50 definitely helped.
I’m going to +1.0 with the new prescription when pick up my new glasses next week.
And I’m looking forward to it.
The optometrist also recommended that I use reading glasses when I use the computer and that has really helped. I’m noticing less headaches. He also said when you have a more dominant right eye and a more lazy eye like I do, it can really effect how your brain works. I find that fascinating. Basically that the brain processes it different.
My guess is since I am switching more often bifocals are in my future. Oh, the joys of aging.
