Was fun to watch them all on demand which is kind of silly when I have the DVDs some place and the original editions on VHS.
They are great fun. Were absolutely huge to me as a child. I had a lot of toys, and I even think the talk with an LP books helped me read. I was only 3 in 1977 when Star Wars came out.
The Empire Strikes Back ***** is clearly the best in the series and I love that nothing works. Star Wars: A New Hope is wonderful ****. And while Return of the Jedi is good ***1/2, I actually prefer Revenge of the Sith and The Force Awakens both also ***1/2.
I was thinking of watching Revenge of the Sith tomorrow before the TNT on demand goes away tomorrow.
And yes I love Star Wars and Star Trek you can love both.
And of course Carrie Fisher is awesome. Although to me Carrie Fisher is more of a hero through her writing and mental health advocacy especially for bipolar disorder. Godspeed.
And also much love to Kenny Baker who played R2-D2, maybe my favorite Star Wars character and also died this year.
The movies give me joy. Oh and I put Rogue One *** bottom three just above Attack of the Clones **1/2 and the uber disappointing The Phantom Menace **. I know a lot of people have a lot more love for Rogue One than I do.
