I have been outside tonight from 6pm-9pm enjoying the evening of the longest day of the year.
Seeing the light change, hearing the bird and insect songs change.
Reading some excellent books including Sonya Renee Taylor’s “My Body is Not an Apology”, Kurt Vonnegut’s “A Man Without a Country” and the end of Marya Hornbacher’s “Madness: A Bipolar Life.”
Eating dinner, drinking a couple Miller High Life and calling a couple friends from Maine in the phone to hang out next week..
Most excellent night. Funny how it becomes spookier with the sun setting. As the creatures of the night start to stir.
Happy Summer Solstice!
