I was very impressed.
And I really liked the idea of an aged, vulnerable superhero.
So many times a lot of superhero movies feel like they are building to big climax scenes like the overrated to me “Captain America: Civil War”. Or trying to be clever like “Deadpool” which I didn’t like.
To me, Logan had real tension and a believable world. I really cared about the characters. It also had interesting and believable future trappings. Although getting prescriptions would be much easier in Mexico.
I don’t want to give away anything, but I was very happily surprised. Although it’s not for the young ones.
It’s the best movie I have seen in the theater since “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” over a year ago.
