In Pennsylvania for a few days.
Dad is now in home hospice.
It’s frustrating.
Can’t get out of bed, has a catheter, and adult diapers.
It’s amazes how much crap we produce.
Oh the joys of life.
Yaaaay!
It’s exhausting to be here. And it’s tough because he’s not close (400 miles from Portland, Maine to Allentown, Pennsylvania.) And it’s easier because I don’t have to deal with it every day.
This experience also makes me realize what a rockstar by mother in law Dottie Maheux was last year dealing my father in law Walter.
I don’t know what’s next or what the life expectancy is, but illness it’s you hard, especially when it’s immediate family. Especially if it’s brain injury. Especially when it changes people.
So it goes ….
