Gregorian Chants playing Christmas songs. The kind of Christmas songs I can listen to all year. Can’t even tell they are Christmas songs.
It gets dark incredibly easy in the end of November.
It’s amazing how many people you can connect to on Facebook and not be connected. We all need to connect more.
Drinking scotch or rye out of a rocks glass makes me drink more. Usually I just drink a little sip out of the bottle which is much, much less.
Rocksmith 2014 is totally awesome. And I am getting better at bass. But, it’s always incredibly annoying when I am fretting correctly and it says I am on the wrong note. I will say though that having the note go in a game forces me to be much quicker. I tend to play very, very slow reading tabs. Partially because I can only see a little at a time through my phone.
Lanna is away in Los Angeles this week. I am jealous not to go but will go again soon. I lived out there for around 3 years from 2000-2002. Got my MBA in Claremont Graduate University (Drucker School). I roomed with philosophy Ph.D. students. I think the philosophy stuck more.
Being a 1/2 mile on an empty dark road at Silver Sands State Beach 2 hours after they close at sunset yesterday was pretty magical. It was intensely quiet, even though it is within a few miles of two large cities in New Haven and Bridgeport and only a couple miles from 95. Felt good to be a rule breaker too. I am often very risk averse. And I think I would have been there longer with a parka, I was very, very cold. Was fun to write out in the dark. I was paranoid gates would be closed, and worried I would get in trouble. But, I think the signs are mostly there for liability. If they wanted it closed the gate would be closed. Fun blogpost to write.
I am pretty sure my kitties use the touchscreen on my computer more than me. They find all sorts of interesting things. Lenny has changed the screen resolution several times.
Turkey is delicious, but quickly gets overwhelming. My dad turning a bunch of it into turkey enchiladas is a genius move. Although he often used too much turkey. People want sandwiches and stuff after all.
We should recognize that Thanksgiving is a holiday of naps. And therefore the day after should be for more napping, not shopping. I think it should be called Nap Friday.
My mind is an incredibly random place.
