I am just starting to read some romances on the Kindle.
They are a lot of fun and often cheap.
I’ve read a few YA romances before including the excellent Colleen Hoover but not a whole bunch.
Deana Farrady’s “Unfriended: A Geek and Stud Romance” was probably the first romance since Colleen Hoover’s “Slammed” and “Point of Retreat” I gave five stars to on Goodreads. It was just fun and I enjoyed the longing and the back and forth or a friendship that became more.
I flew through that this week and have been reading the very hot “His Vengeance” the last few days. And I flew through “Heat Exchange”, I want to read part 2 now. I liked the doubts of the female lead of her sexiness as the bloom with a new lover. And her short story “Her Stepbrother’s Promise” I wish was longer.
Hopefully like most romance authors with the benefit of the formula she gets prolific. I want to read a whole bunch more. Even considering trying the Kindle Unlimited which is full of independent author romances.
I have other good books from the library, but romances are dominating my reading outside of Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman” series. And I don’t mind at all.
