I actually had 5 things going on the just before 6pm tonight. Including “The Mind of a Chef”, The BNP Paribas Open Finals for men’s and women’s singles at Indian Wells, NASCAR, Timbersports and Golf.
I actually ended up watching “The Mind of a Chef” first, great episode on culinary heroes. Definitely worth catching up with on Netflix. It talks about the influences of chefs, concentrating 8 30 minute episodes on each chef.
The NASCAR and tennis I both peeked at live. As well as a bit of the NCAA tournament and the timber sports. The disadvantage of having good cable is a lot of options. I just discovered the Universal Sports channel with lots of Olympic sports like biathlon and bobsled yesterday.
I did also get the chance to finish Joy Williams bizarre and surreal set of very short stories “Ninety-Nine Stories of God” tonight. So it wasn’t all sports with the kitty. I can catch up more on everything this week. Indian Wells is over, Miami starts on Tuesday for tennis. And there is still women’s NCAA games Monday and Tuesday before the Men’s Sweet Sixteen starts on Thursday. So many sports.
